During March and april I have concentrated photographing South ridges of few Eskers
(Harju in Finnish), mainly due to practical reasons: less snow and more light. Vehoniemenharju
is one of my favourite places during springs. It's ridge facing towards Roine has lots of light during afternoons. And the other ridge has looooong
shadows at same time.
Due to rain in last weekend I found time to code some functionalities for coming Pirkanmaa nature photo website.
At the moment there is just functionality to show locations and functionality to show where some longitude and latitude is on
map. Maps are real pain in the #ass to do and I only added
Pirkanmaa and all cities in Pirkanmaa,
so all detailed topographic maps are still missing. Database contains also location data (coordinates and why area is preserved)
of some nature preservation areas I collected last fall. Click links to navigate between locations. Sorry no English
language version yet, but there ain't much text content either... You can start from
Vehoniemenharju.
